France and England are preparing for a strong encounter early Sunday morning in the third place match of the 2026 World Cup, set to take place at Miami's stadium.


The match is set to kick off at 12:00 AM local time in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, with the French national team entering the encounter ranked third in the FIFA rankings, while the English team sits in fourth place.


Both teams are looking to conclude their tournament journey by securing the bronze medal, after France was eliminated in the semi-finals with a 2-0 loss to Spain, while England exited following a 2-1 defeat to Argentina.


FIFA has appointed Venezuelan referee Jesus Valenzuela as the main official, assisted by compatriots Jorge Urrego and Tulio Moreno, while Moroccan Jalal Jaid will serve as the fourth official.


Venezuelan Liodan Gonzalez will manage the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system, assisted by Armando Villarreal and Spanish Carlos del Cerro Grande.
