Turkish media reports have revealed that Fulham is close to reaching a final agreement with Trabzonspor to sign Nigerian defender Chibuike Nwankwo during the current summer transfer window.

According to Turkish journalist Yunus Emre Sel, Fulham has reached an agreement to pay around €30 million for the player's services, after a round of negotiations between the two clubs, amid Trabzonspor's insistence on receiving a high financial value.

Reports have indicated that Trabzonspor's management expects to formalize the deal at the beginning of next week, following the completion of final procedures, although no official announcement has been made by either club yet.

Noyau is considered one of the most promising talents in the center-back position, having caught attention with his performances since joining Trabzonspor. This has prompted Fulham to take decisive action to secure his services and strengthen their defense before the start of the new season.
