Pedro Porro, the Tottenham full-back and Spain international, has attracted the attention of Barcelona's management following his impressive performances in the 2026 World Cup. According to "Mundo Deportivo," club president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco have been closely monitoring his performances during Spain's matches in the United States.

Boro has excelled in the championship on both defensive and offensive fronts, alongside the great synergy he displayed with Lamine Yamal on the right flank, making him one of the standout defenders in the tournament and boosting his market value.

Despite this admiration, Barcelona does not prioritize signing a right-back currently, given the presence of Jules Koundé, Eric Garcia, Hector Bellerin, and Chavi Espart among the team's options in this position.

The Spanish newspaper reported that Tottenham moved quickly before the World Cup, successfully extending Pedro Porro's contract until 2031, with an option for an additional season, after his previous deal was set to run until 2028.

Under the new contract, the player will receive one of the highest salaries within the ranks of the London club, making a transfer during this period more challenging.

Therefore, the idea of Pedro Porro meeting with Lamine Yamal at Barcelona seems far-fetched, while the Catalan club's management continues to focus on signing Joao Cancelo to fill the left-back position, with the possibility of bringing in a new defender only if Ronald Araujo departs this summer.
