Paris Saint-Germain has ruled out a move to sign French international Michael Olise during the current summer transfer window, despite their previous interest in the player. This decision is attributed to the club's priorities in the transfer market, according to French newspaper "L'Équipe."

The newspaper reported that Paris Saint-Germain tried to sign Michael Olise two years ago when he was a player at Crystal Palace, but the player preferred a move to Bayern Munich.

Paris Saint-Germain will receive over €100 million from the sale of Gonçalo Ramos to AC Milan, along with the anticipated transfer of Lee Kang-in to Atlético Madrid. However, these funds have been earmarked to finance the signings of Ake Luyindama and Yann Deumandi.

L'Équipe has confirmed that the club's management does not wish to engage in lengthy and complicated negotiations to sign Olyz, considering this matter a nightmare due to the lack of any guarantees for completing the deal.

The management believes that Bayern Munich will not agree to sell the player this summer unless they receive an amount of at least €200 million, which contradicts the club's new financial policy.

The newspaper added that the expected salary for Olise, which exceeds €20 million annually, poses another obstacle, as Paris Saint-Germain refuses to return to a high salary structure. They are also concerned that entering the race to sign the player could inflate the prices of their other targets in the transfer market.
